Nature is a true teacher!

There are lessons in nature that teach us unbelievably valuable lessons.
Think of the honeybee and the fly; two insects that look remarkably similar but are hugely different.
The honeybee flies from flower to flower only extracting nectar without disturbing the flower – only seeking the essence of each flower. Even in a sea of garbage, the bee will only fly to a single flower no matter how far it is.
The fly on the other hand in an otherwise healthy body, will only focus on sucking on an infectious scab. The fly will travel over a sea of flowers and only focus on where there is garbage while ignoring all the beauty and fragrance.
The honeybee teaches us to focus on the positives of those around us and to deal appropriately with their faults, after all, we all have faults and there is never a shortage of things to complain about but if we emulate the bee, we can aim to only seek the positive qualities in those around us.
The fly teaches us the dangers of ignoring the good qualities in those around us and focusing on their faults. Fault finding is so easy and requires no effort. It is a habit and the more we allow ourselves to do it, the more it becomes a way of life.
I believe that it is important for us to endeavour to have honest, well-wishing communication focused on appreciating the positives of those around us while dealing with the negatives in a gracious and constructive manner.
Bringing out the best in each other!
